The Palace houses the University of Łódź Centre for the Organization of Cultural Events and Conferences (COWKiK).
The venue hosts interdisciplinary cultural projects presented in the form of exhibitions, meetings, lectures, seminars, conferences, and broadly defined educational activities.

The Palace holds collections documenting the history of the University of Łódź, as well as the lives and achievements of its academic staff and students. It also features a room dedicated to the University’s first Rector, Professor Tadeusz Kotarbiński.
The building is home to the Research Team for the Photographic Collection at the University of Łódź (the collection of Andrzej Różycki, an artist associated since the 1960s with the progressive avant-garde milieu of Łódź, who passed away in 2021).
The former carriage house now accommodates “Gallery 1/5”, which hosts temporary exhibitions.

The Biedermann Palace is located in the center of Łódź. Situated opposite the Old Town Park, it is separated from the Poznański Family Palace and the Manufaktura Shopping and Entertainment Centre. Nearby is also the city’s prominent thoroughfare, Piotrkowska Street.
